The topic of this evening: Vision and Impact. The hosts of this event: Lyndsey and Alina.
Q1: Have you tried anything new in the classroom last year?
Yes!! With great help from Miriam Walsh I connected my class with her's and the students share some video's with each other! It was very nice!
Q2 What new tools are you going to introduce into your teaching this year?
Next year, all of our students will have an iPad. I'm going to use Apple Classroom. Didn't experienced with it last year. The last 2 weeks were great! Using Classroom in class is very easy! And it has great benefit. I love the possibility to airdrop something with the whole class at once!
Q3 What's your schools vision and why is it important?
We are having a hard time to define our schools vision. Small and engaged is what we do, we see each student. We give them the time for upgrowth. Not every child is ready for K12 in a big school with 1500+ student. Our small school with small classes and engaged teachers give them confidence to grow!
Q4 How do you plan to help other teachers in your school to integrate technology into their classes?
The plan is: not to do it all on my own. Give teachers the opportunity to ask me anything they need to get more confident in using #edtech in their classroom. There has to be a 'safe' environment so teachers know nothing is too weird to ask! We won't laugh!
Q5 what educational projects are you going to promote in your school?
Share, Share and share some more!
The respons of Koen triggered me. He made me curious. What does he mean with:
@Koenmariën: A5 self paced professional learning
Q6 what are the key changes you want to see by the end of this school year?
I hope teachers will be more engaged with #edtech.
